The Internet is a global network of networks of servers, and a single server is a piece of equipment, like a house, with a network of pipes and wires.
A computer is a machine that sits on the network, running programs that communicate with each other and the other computers on the Internet.
In other words, a computer sits on a network.
A laptop is an extension of a computer, and many laptops are very small.
The same is true of printers, keyboards, and other digital devices.
But if you need to work on a computer from home, you’ll need to connect it to a network to do your work.
A number of operating systems are available to run on your computer, but they’re not the same as the operating systems used by your employer.
A large number of people don’t know that, and they don’t have the tools or skills to understand what they need to do to configure a computer to run their software.
In the next chapter, we’ll cover how to get started with your computer to manage files and work with files.
This chapter is part of a series of posts about how to run your computer from the comfort of your home or office.
For a general introduction to computers and their use, check out the chapter on computers in the next post.

The next post will cover installing a Windows desktop computer on your home network, a topic that is covered in the previous posts.
