Software developer Revit, which is backed by Google and owned by Alphabet Inc, will be the software provider for video confederate applications, the company said in a filing on Tuesday.
The company said it will also supply software that enables third-party applications to stream video to Google Cast devices.
The companies said they are working with partners to deliver products that include voice and video conferees, as well as support for video streaming.
“This is an exciting time for video and video-conferencing in India,” Revit CEO Nirmal Mukherjee said in the filing.
“We look forward to working with our partners to make Revit a successful partner in the country.”
Revit was formed by former Google executives.
The software company said its main focus is on providing the best possible platform for the development of video conferences and streaming video.
Revit is backed with $5 billion from Alphabet.
It plans to use its existing platform to develop software for Google Cast.
