Posted October 05, 2018 04:16:06 Microsoft has entered into a new hardware deal with a Taiwanese firm that will provide hardware-optimized software to Apple for its new hardware camera and video capture applications, a person familiar with the matter said.
Microsoft’s agreement with the Taiwan company, Videotron, comes after Apple signed a contract in March with the firm to supply a suite of software products for its own video camera and other camera products that Microsoft and other companies will use to develop software for the new cameras.
The company will use Videotrons software to provide software for its existing video cameras and video recording systems, the person said.
Videotron is a Taiwanese company that sells hardware-based video capture products for video cameras such as those used by Apple, Google and Sony.
The Taiwan company will make the software for Microsoft’s video capture cameras and other cameras and software for a variety of devices, including Apple’s iPhone and iPad.
Vidotron’s software for video recording will be used to provide Apple with video-capture applications that will allow Apple to create a virtual camera that can be used for video capturing, the source said.
Apple will also use Videos software for creating video recording software, the people said.
Apple will not use Videots software for other video capture devices that Apple doesn’t sell, the two people said, and Videotronics software will not be used in other video capturing devices that Microsoft sells.
Apple has long used Videotronic software to create video-recording software that can create a “virtual camera” that can then be used as a virtual video camera.
The software can create and capture video with real-time, live-action video.
Vides video-camera software can be integrated into existing video-cameras or used on other video cameras.
Vesotronic’s software will allow users to capture video without having to create the camera itself.
It can also be integrated with third-party software, like video-tracking apps, that can automatically record video from video cameras, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the deal is private.
Virtuos software is currently available for third-parties to create their own video-processing software.
Apple and Videocon will continue to develop their software together, the sources said.
The source said Microsoft will continue using Videotrol software for Windows PCs and Macs.
Videos can also use video-tracking apps to automatically record and record video.
Microsoft will use the same software for both its Windows and Mac video-receiving devices, the third-source said.
